Flavors from Africa is Khadijas Mohamud’s second cookbook, this time she draws inspiration from large parts of Africa.

Khadija Mohamud wants more people to discover the fantastic food that comes from this continent’s different cuisines. The book presents around fifty tasty recipes, many of which can be difficult to find in cookbooks in Swedish. Familiar dishes such as shakshuka, tagine and jollof rice are paired with less familiar but equally tasty dishes such as the Gambian peanut butter chicken stew domoda, the vegetable stew shakalaka and zigni, the mushy meat stew from Ethiopia and Eritrea.
